Evangeline Letitia Forge is the fourth of six children born to Oudhun and Sarra Forge. Growing up in Thriest, the capital of Malevich, her family lived a moderate lifestyle due to the fact that her father was a well accomplished smith and a craftsman for the Order of Truth and her mother, a homemaker, baked bread for the local bakery. As a young child who was not the oldest, youngest, a twin, or even the middle child, she was frequently overlooked by her parents, and became quite close to her brother, Edaric. The two of them spent time reading and learning together, but they also enjoyed playing games with Evaneline’s treasured boomerang.
Oudhun Forge was an ace at his trade and Evangeline followed him about whenever she could to watch him work, being a smart child and a quick learner, she picked up on his craft quickly. Oudhun seeing his daughter’s ability to learn, took Evangeline to Qi and, at the age of 14, enrolled her in the university where she could learn from and apprentice with the other craftsmen. By the time she hit twenty she was skilled with many tools of trade so she became a full Artificer. Upon completing university she relocated to Durkhal, central location of the Order of Truth in Qi and home of the Amber Pope. At Durkhal she apprenticed and worked up ranks to become an Aeon Priest of the Order of Truth.
Evangeline was sent on a quest by the order to look into some strange transformations taking place near Hidden Naresh being escorted by a member of the Zhev Guard which is part of the Order of Truth. As their travels took them through Thriest they met up with some other individuals and banded together. Now Evangeline is on a quest to discover the secrets of numenara devices, what magic really is, and are there really gods.
