Rhonda, gamer tag VeternRoge63, is a retired florist who has been playing roleplaying games for more years than she is willing to admit. It began with a group of friends inviting her to play AD&D like so many others. Her enjoyment of the game that allowed her to freely express her imagination grew as she began to pass it along to others in her family. Family gaming night became a love of hers and when life got in the way she was sad to see it take a back burner. With only an occasional game happening she set it to the side until one day while talking with her sister they decided they would start a campaign with just three other family members. That campaign lasted over two years and gaming was in her blood again, and she has played weekly ever since. Currently participating in several additional campaigns, she has also delving into some new system and participating in conventions.
Along with playing, Rhonda also enjoys GM from time to time and creating her own worlds and stories. She loves playing rogues and druids in a fantasy settings, but she has played in other settings as well (steampunk, post apocalyptic, and modern world). She currently is teaching her grandkids D&D5e, to help them with reading and math, and to inspire their creativity. Her phylosiphy is that you sould never stop learning about the things you love and never stop loving learning new things. Rhonda currently is learning the aspects of play by post and finds a new challenge in it because to her it is very different than the traditional gaming table where her love of the game began.
Outside of gaming she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids as well as extended family and friends. Some of Rhonda's favorite past times are cooking/baking, drawing or writing, traveling, and being outdoors in the sun. She can be frequently found loving on her two little fur babies, Maggie Mae and Ziggy who diligently support her from their beds under her desk.
